The perilymph and endolymph of the auditory apparatus are actually interstitial rather than lymphatic fluid. However, interstitial drainage of the cochle, semi-circular canal and lymphatic drainage of the surrounding auricular structures may help remedy chronic pathologies such as a hearing loss, tinnitus, etc. as might be expected, chronic otitis and Meniere's disease (endolymphatic hydrops) are conditions which Lymphatic Drainage therapy may be especially effective.
