Opthamology
Very few manual techniques may have such a positive impact on eye pathologies as lymph drainage. The tissue of the eye is very fragile and only extremely light pressure should be used for lymphatic drainage of this organ. Most of the eye tissues which do not receive a direct blood supply, such as the cornea and lens and the envelope of the eye called the sclera, also lack lymphatic vascularization. however o ther parts of the eyes have significant blood and lyphatic vascularization.
Ther drainage of the various chambers of the eyes and their respective interstitital fluids ( such as the aqueous and vitreous humors) requires specific training and highly developed hand control but can produce remarkable effects. Tissue regeneration (especially retinal tissue) and ocular fluid activiation, can sometimes be seen in a very short time.
