Lymphatic Breast Care (LBC)
The rich lymphatic network of the breast and pelvic areas are highly amenable to manual lymphatic therapy. The breast tissue in particular is well-supplied with lymphatics, but lacks the sources of external compression (such as muscles or strong overlying fascia) which promote natural lymphatic drainage in most other body tissues.
Fluid has a tendency to accumulate in the breast, and a poor fitting or
too-tight brassiere may seriously constrict lymphatics, aggravating the
fluid stagnation. lymphatic Breast Care (LBC) is especially designed to
work on the breast tissue, in a preventative and therapeutic manner, for
both lactating and non-lactating women.
